My Story

I'm taking on the Kindness Challenge with Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney and walking to end homelessness.

I have seen first hand the amazing work Emmaus does and the transformation they can make to people's lives, having been a trustee since 2018.

This walk is a huge challenge, covering the distance of the full width of the country from St Davids in Wales to Lowestoft in Suffolk, passing the Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney site in Norfolk.

I will be walking most of the way with the Emmaus team of companions, starting at St Davids on Monday 26 August for around 4 weeks, then continuing with separate daily walks before joining the team again for the final legs, finishing on 10 October. In total it will be 450 miles in 46 days.

All the money raised will be put to great use, giving people a home, vital support and transforming lives.

I believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and I will be walking to get one step closer to making this a reality for people across the country.
